The total size of the ice sheets surrounding Antarctica increased in the 11 years to 2019, according to dramatic new evidence published by three climate scientists from the University of Leeds. The increase was significant, the area of the entire shelf increased by 5,305 km2, which increased the area of the entire shelf by 0.4% during the 11 years examined. The study has just been published by the influential European Geosciences Union, but it raises questions within the "permanent" climate science narrative, so the mainstream media will most likely not cover it. Based on satellite data, the Leeds researchers measured the annual ice sheet position and area of 34 ice sheets that make up 80% of the Antarctic coastline. Green taxes to be introduced in the UK from April next year will raise food prices within months, driving up shopping bills. Families are already facing spiraling food and drink prices as the Resolution Foundation calculates that by July 2023 food bills will be an average of £1,000 higher than 2020 levels. This picture is circulating on Facebook and everyone is writing what they think about it. What comes to mind when we look at the left or right side.
Then I looked around in my mind around my grandmothers house... and on the porches of my current acquaintances... and the picture is real! This happened slowly over the last 30-50 years.
Vegetable gardens have disappeared from the gardens, and there are hardly any fruit trees. Of course, that's a lot of work.
We cry because it's hot, but we remove all the trees from our garden so that we don't have to rake, prune...etc. We'll be wildly looking for sun sails for hundreds of thousands, because we'll be baking in our wonderful landscaped yard.
We plant a lawn, remove every last weed, and then cut it short, so it has to be watered every single day to keep it nice and green.
There is a big garden there, but we buy food and fruit in the store and then haggle over the prices.
By the time we do our yard according to (today's average) needs (wipe it out, pave it, put 1 piece of grass), we realize that we don't even want to be outside. Because we don't feel in our environment the way we planned.
We knock down the nests because the birds mess up everything. After that, of course, we won't be able to get rid of flies and mosquitoes.
We have moved away from nature, our garden has lost its biodiversity in the same way as our gut flora... we don't move enough because we don't cultivate the garden, and thus we don't get enough natural vitamin D either.
We buy and eat unripe vegetables and fruits with sprays and herbicides offered by the supermarket, today's generation has no idea what a real juicy, sweet tomato or peach is like! But they no longer know what they don't know, it's already natural for them.
The pets have also disappeared from the gardens, although I wouldn't be able to serve them on my table either, but there is almost nowhere where you can get a good little garden scavenger hunt, or a good non-nutritious kurtatail in the winter.
Do this before it's too late!
Plant a tree!
It gives you shade where you can cool off... it protects the ground from drying out with the undergrowth.
Be sure to plant a fruit tree and a walnut tree!
Plant a crop and let the "weed", the best of which is the herb that serves you... grow a little, they will protect your crop.
Have a well drilled and/or get a rainwater collector!
Irrigation in such dry times can be solved with foresight.
Have a fireplace in your house, who knows what the future will bring.
Your pantry should be filled with your own preserves, jams, pickles... let's take care of ourselves, because no one else will do it for us!
I am confident that more and more people who have the opportunity will return to homework.
